The name Kiran originates from the Sanskrit language and has the meaning 'ray of light'. This was the inspiration for the name of my practice. I am passionate about bringing forth the light in every child, teen or parent that I meet to inspire feelings of empowerment, resiliency and connectedness.
Kiran has her Master of Social Work and is a Registered Clinical Social Worker in BC with 25 years of experience.

Kiran has worked in child welfare, domestic violence, Indigenous health, teen healthy relationships and child and youth mental health. She currently works in infant mental health and attachment at the Queen Alexandra Centre for Children and Youth in Victoria, BC.
Kiran is an experienced parent to two teenaged children and knows firsthand the joys and pains of family life. In her downtime, she enjoys running, taking her dogs for beach walks and practicing meditation and yoga.
